The already wildly popular student and parent data portal, PupilPath, has been put to good use by
World Journalism Preparatory School in New York City. Moving beyond the success that students and parents in the school community have had using the product, the school is going one step further by using the portal for student portfolios.
In a recent article on WJPS News: “Helpful Tips for Navigating the New Portfolio” the new process is outlined, with helpful hints explaining the new portfolio process for students. Having used PupilPath to upload assignments and receive grades automatically, they’ll now use PupilPath as a place to upload and showcase their work, presenting their progress to parents and teachers. IEP Teacher Mr. Petrotta saying: “Ease. We’ve made the transition from E-portfolio to Pupilpath, simply because it’s easier. Instead of having to use two different websites, and deal with computer crashes, we’ve made it a lot simpler by allowing students to present all of their work in the same place they have their grades.”
